Building sustainability assessors

Photo of a man writing on paper attached to a clipboardBuilding sustainability assessors can provide information on methods to improve the performance of a building. This includes advising on design issues that affect thermal properties, water usage, air quality and energy efficiency.

Assessors can produce documentation for councils that require a sustainability certificate (eg: the BASIX certificate required in New South Wales).

An assessor may also contribute notes and specifications to working drawings in order to highlight design features that comply with sustainability regulations.
